It was another day with a large temperatures spread from morning to afternoon with many of us starting off with freezing temperatures this morning and then warming into the upper 60s this afternoon. Below is a look at some of our morning lows and afternoon highs from today.

This same trend of chilly mornings and warm afternoons will continue over the next couple of days although the wind will be stronger. Tomorrow most of us will start off with a light freeze and then warm into the upper 60s and lower 70s with a south/southwest breeze around 15-25mph. On Thursday most if not all of us should avoid a freeze in the morning and then warm into the 70s in the afternoon again with breezy conditions.
The next cold front will move through late Thursday into early Friday and will cool us down by about 20-25 degrees. A storm system that is currently taking shape in the Gulf of Alaska will dive down the west coast and move over us at the end of the week. Systems like this are always pain to forecast because models do not have much data on them until they move over land which in this case won’t be for another couple of days. It currently looks like we will have a decent chance for rain late Friday and throughout the day on Saturday with temperatures staying warm enough to just see rain. If rain were to stick around through late Saturday into early Sunday or if this system were to dive down farther south and bring in more cold air then we could be looking at some wintry weather. This is a possibility but right now this does not look likely, but as mentioned above, there could be some changes to the forecast over the next couple of days so stay tuned!

The weekend storm system aside, for those of you looking ahead to next week and the Christmas Eve/Christmas forecast it looks like the weather will be quiet with morning lows in the upper 20s/lower 30s and afternoon highs in the 50s.

I hope you had great day and were able to get outside and enjoy the nice weather today! I will step you through the forecast tonight on the News at Nine and Matt will have a complete updated forecast for you tomorrow morning.
