What a difference a day makes! A cold front cleared the region last night and we were about 15 degrees cooler this afternoon compared to yesterday afternoon. Below is a look at some of our morning lows and afternoon highs from today.
We will see similar conditions over the next couple of days with temperatures starting off in the upper 50s and lower 60s then only warming into the mid 80s in the afternoon. Partly cloudy conditions will be the trend the rest of the week with a slight chance for a few showers around the state line each night although the far better chance will be farther to the west deeper into New Mexico where they will continue to have the possibility of heavy flooding rain.
High pressure will get closer to us at the beginning of next week which will help clear out the sky and warm our temperatures back to near average values. There are some signs that another storm system could cool us down and provide us with some rain by the middle to end of next week but there currently is still plenty of uncertainty with that setup.
I hope you had a great day! I will step you through the forecast tonight on the News at Nine and Matt will have a complete updated forecast for you tomorrow morning.
