In an effort to spread holiday cheer around the Lubbock community, first-year head men's basketball coach Billy Gillispie and the Red Raiders plan to perform a charity act once a day from December 10-21.

“The holiday season is a season of giving,” said Gillispie. “Our team and our coaching staff definitely have the holiday spirit. We look forward to doing our part to making the season as joyous as possible for others. We are very excited about these 12 special days and hope to make this an exciting yearly tradition. We want to be known as a program that excels on the court, in the classroom and in the community.”
