Texas Tech received a big boost to their offensive attack on Monday after Sophomore Jace Amaro was cleared to participate in the game. The Tight End missed the 2nd half of the season after pulling in 23 catches for 394 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Amaro had been cleared to practice after the regular season ended but doctors have now given him the o.k. to participate in the bowl game. The San Antonio native is expected to help the Red Raiders both in the passing game as well as in the run game with his blocking.
Amaro and his Red Raider teammates kickoff the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas Friday night, December 28th at 8pm.
