Joshua is a reporter and producer for Ag Day Lubbock and is also an online editor for myfoxlubbock.com. Joshua first joined the Fox 34 team as an intern in the sports department in the summer of 2012.
The Fredericksburg, Texas native came to Lubbock in 2009 to attend Texas Tech University. He graduated from Tech in 2013 with a degree in journalism.
Since the sixth grade, Joshua has enjoyed working as a journalist, whether it be in print, radio, online or television, Joshua has loved every minute of it. Getting out of the office and talking to people has been one of the staples of Joshua's journalism career stemming all the way back to his start with the Daily Toreador at Tech. Since then he has worked in radio at KTXT The Raider 88.1, Tech's student radio station, on the web for multiple organizations and in television as well. Telling a story has always been a big part of what Josh is all about because he believes it is the job of a journalist to give a voice to a person that doesn't have the opportunity to have their story told.
West Texas has become home for Joshua as he loves to spend time out in the community cheering on the Red Raiders and is also an avid outdoorsman where he enjoys camping, fishing and especially hunting. If Joshua is not working you can probably guess that he is either watching some sporting event on television or out with his friends enjoying the outdoors.
