Jamie Livingston joined the FOX 34 News team in January 2013. She is the weekend producer of News @ 9, as well as producer for Good Day Lubbock once a week. Jamie also serves as a multi-platform journalist.
Jamie is a Tyler, Texas native, having spent the last four years in Nacogdoches, Texas going to school. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in communications in May 2011 from Stephen F. Austin State University. She was a double major in Radio/TV and journalism. She was a staff writer for the student newspaper The Pine Log, as well as a student deejay for the on-campus radio station KSAU. Jamie has received many honors such as Best Beginning Reporter, Philip T. Johnson merit award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Excellence, and Pinelogger of the month. In February 2012 Jamie had a story air nationally on ABC World News Now. Jamie is also a national member of Society of Professional Journalists. She served as vice president of the SFA chapter of SPJ. After graduation, Jamie served as the 5 p.m. news producer for KTRE in Lufkin, TX.
Jamie comes to Lubbock with her husband, Brian, and her four-year-old daughter, Brianna. Her husband is a first-year student at Texas Tech School of Law. She also has a wonderful stepson in East Texas.
In her spare time, Jamie enjoys reading, watching TV and movies. She likes to cook and bake, as well as dine at new restaurants. She loves spending time with her daughter and has loved being in a city with so many parks.
