Born and raised in rural Iowa, Brittany is a small town girl who is excited to pursue her big dreams of broadcast news reporting.
Brittany was designed to be a TV reporter. As a child, she would borrow her mom’s hand held video camera and produce homemade horror movies with her sister and friends. (Although looking at them now, they turned out to be more comical rather than scary.)
This passion for performance and creativity followed Brittany into junior high and high school where she excelled in writing and poetry contests, theater productions and speech competitions.
After high school, Brittany Price graduated from the University of Northern Iowa where she majored in electronic media. As a college student Brittany got involved in college theater productions and her campus’s TV news program. During her junior year she participated in a National Student Exchange program where she studied at California State San Bernardino. This is where she lead the student-produced news program “Local Matters” as a superior reporter and anchor. Before returning to Iowa, Brittany was selected for an exclusive internship at Entertainment Tonight in Los Angeles, where she experienced the thrills of large market entertainment news. While finishing her last year at UNI, Brittany interned for a local news station in Waterloo, Iowa. This experience ignited her passion for storytelling and building relationships and she was certain a career in TV reporting was her calling.
Brittany is overjoyed to begin her career in Lubbock, where she is excited to explore and connect with this prosperous and friendly community.
When she’s not reporting, you can find Brittany working out, spending time with friends, playing sports, being involved at church, listening to country music and making frequent calls back home to Iowa to her two best friends… her mom and sister.
