Treats like cupcakes are almost too easy to come by during the holidays. Registered Dietitian Allison Childress shared a more health-conscious substitute that the whole family can help make and enjoy.
Here is the recipe for Vanilla Snowballs:
1 12-ounce package white chocolate chips 6 cups popped popcorn
Microwave the chocolate chips in a bowl for a minute or two. Put popcorn and cereal in a large bowl. Pour melted chocolate over popcorn and stir until coated well. Drop by 1/3 cup into cupcake liners. Let stand for 20 to 30 minutes until hardened.
