There are two opportunities to receive free or reduced-cost flu shots in Lubbock on Wednesday.

The first of which is at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center Student-Run Free Clinic. They will be administering vaccines from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. for those six months old and up. Qualifying patients are asked to call and make an appointment at 806-337-2098 or email the clinic at freeclinic@ttuhsc.edu.

Additionally, the City of Lubbock Health Department is offering multiple vaccines including the flu shot. They will be available at the health department from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The costs for adults vary and kids vaccines are $15 for one dose, $20 dollars for two or more. Anyone with questions can call 806-775-3090.
