This year, all Lubbock ISD student-athletes have access to low-cost physicals during school hours.

A partnership with the Community Health Center of Lubbock makes the process more convenient for students, parents and schools.

"Being able to fill out consent forms at home, send it school, and have us provide the sports physical - keeps the parents from having to go after hours or on the weekends to take their children," explained CHCL Outreach Coordinator Claudia Bustos.

CHCL is setting up check-up stations at all LISD high schools, middle schools, the aquatic center, and the Talkington School for Young Women Leaders.
