City of Lubbock Health Dept. Release

The City of Lubbock Health Department will offer influenza vaccine for adults (ages 18 years and older) beginning Wednesday, September 4th.

The cost of the vaccine is $10/dose. Cash or credit card only. Medicare will not be accepted. Call 775-2914 for a listing of clinic locations and times.

Persons who cannot take this vaccine include:
· Persons < 18 years/age
· Persons with a history of allergic reaction to a previous dose of influenza vaccine
· Persons with severe egg/egg product allergies
· Persons previously diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome
· Persons who have already received a dose of seasonal flu vaccine for this flu season
