From United Blood Services

United Blood Services is continuing the Appeal for Type O- blood. It will take a strong response from the community for quite a few days to correct this critical situation. All O- donors are encouraged to donate immediately and all other blood types also are needed.

The requirements for donating are simple: You must be at lease 16 years of age and be in good health.

To those in need, the simple act of giving is truly heroic.

Find the hero in you. Go to www.bloodhero.com or call 797-6804 to make an appointment, and then donate at least three times a year.
