A new baby-themed Citibus wrap was unveiled in front of Kmart Friday.

The Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, Stork's Nest, March of Dimes, and members of the Lubbock Perinatal Coalition are promoting a campaign called Healthy Babies are Worth the Wait. The bus will serve as a public display to educate the public on the importance of not scheduling elective inductions and c-sections.

These groups are urging women with healthy pregnancies to wait for labor to start up on its own. They recommend waiting until 39 to 40 weeks gestation.

And the road does not end with a bus wrap. The bus itself will soon be filled up with baby stuff for the Stork's Nest, a program that provides access to prenatal care and education to expecting women.

Items can be dropped off at the bus in front of Kmart. The 11th Annual Stork's Nest Baby Shower is coming up on July 20th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Kmart.
