Lubbock sales tax allocation sees increase

Lubbock will receive almost $5.6 million in sales tax revenue for the month of July, a 4.92 percent increase over the same period last year.

In other words, the city already has a revenue increase in sales tax, subsequently, there is no need for the council to conspire to raise fees or tax rates again.
