Simple Cranberry Sauce
12 ounces fresh cranberries
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon fresh-grated nutmeg
Orange zest
Stir together cranberries, sugar and water in a sauce pan. Grate nutmeg and half of an orange into pan.
Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, or until cranberries begin to pop. Sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
