Premiere Cinemas showing Sunday TTU Baseball game for free

Lubbock's Premiere Cinemas will show the broadcast of Texas Tech's first game in the College World Series against TCU on a movie screen at 2 p.m. Sunday. The theater, located in the South Plains Mall, is giving away free tickets starting at 10:00 a.m. Sunday on a first come, first served basis. There a limit of two reserved seats per person.

Associate Director Daniel Lopez reports there are 274 seats available. Seating will not be assigned ahead of time, and begins at 1:30 p.m.

"As far as they go is as far as we're going to go. It's just one of those experiences that you know, since it's the first world series that Texas Tech has got to go to, we are going to support them all the way through."

The theater is promoting food and drink specials throughout the game. Along with popcorn, candy and soft drinks, Premiere Cinemas has a unique menu along with a full bar and a Starbucks. 

Tech faces TCU in the first game, Sunday. If they win, they play the winner of Virginia and Ole Miss, Tuesday at 7 p.m.
