Paul McCartney fans in Lubbock are in the middle of what has turned into a long wait for the former Beatle to play his first concert in Buddy Holly's hometown. The June 14 concert was postponed until October, along with the rest of the shows this month.
In a YouTube video posted Wednesday morning, McCartney assures fans he's ready to resume touring.
"Everybody's been asking me how how I feel," he said. "I feel great! Thank you very much for asking." (Click the attached video for the full clip).
McCartney's Lubbock concert is now scheduled for October 2. Tickets purchased for the June 14 concert are still valid, but fans who may need a refund because of the date change can call Select-a-Seat at (806) 770-2000.
