After too few people saw it in theaters "The Iceman" cometh to DVD and Blu-ray. It tells the true story of Richard Kuklinski (Michael Shannon), who's reported to have killed more than a hundred people for the mob over about 20 years.

He was brutal and remorseless, which earned him the "Iceman" nickname. The only sliver of humanity we see is his love for his wife and kids, who have no idea what he really is.

Winona Ryder, by the way, does her best work in years as his wife. Shannon is spellbinding, and still one of the best reasons to watch "Boardwalk Empire" on HBO. He deserves Oscar consideration for "The Iceman."

Because the movie spans decades, it has to gloss over quite a bit so it all feels a bit rushed. One would hope some of that is expanded upon on the Blu-ray but there are only two short features included in the extras.
