Mosquitoes are not only a nuisance, but they also pose a health risk.
To keep your family safe, start by emptying all standing water in your yard, like kiddie pools and flower pot saucers. Be sure to clear the gutters.
Mosquito control contractor Ken Frost says it takes as little as a bottle cap full of water to breed hundreds of mosquitoes.
Before consulting a professional, try planting natural mosquito repellents, like catnip, lavender, marigolds, basil and peppermint.
