There is approximately $20 million available for organic research thanks to the 2014 Farm Bill.

The USDA's National Institute of Food and Agriculture is now accepting applications for the Organic Agriculture Research and Extension Initiative.

OREI is a research competitive grants program that is dedicated to funding research that is relevant to organic producers, such as organic methods of pest and weed control and fertility management.
