Apple Country Orchard is hosting their annual event this weekend Saturday and Sunday, September 14th and 15th, from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. at the orchard.
Cal Brints, the owner of apple country, said not only will there be fun activities for the whole family, but the three dollar admission fee will also go to help support important local organizations.
"Apple Country and the Metro rotary club sponsor it, and we supply a lot of funding for organizations such as the Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, and other Rotary charities," Brints said. "But we do have it every year, and we will have plenty of apples here. We'll have apple ciders and apple turnovers and Blue Bell ice cream and we will have lots of activities going on."
The Apple Butter Festival will also feature hayrides, face painting, live music and chile roasting just to name a few things that will be going on all weekend.
