The American Museum of Agriculture in Lubbock is looking to expand.
"The next phase will be two giant round buildings that resemble a grain tank, agriculture grain tank, Dan Taylor, Museum Board President, said. "The first one will be 96 feet in diameter which it will be the gift shop, rotunda, kind of the entry way. We hope to have a lot of educational exhibits in there."
Taylor says the second building will include a meeting room that will seat 350 people.
The museum is thanking donors and sponsors of a fundraiser last may that raised over 100 thousand dollars for operating expenses.
Plans for another fundraising event in September are in the works.
